BUDDING actors who have yet to realise their ambition of treading the boards are invited to audition for Ayesha 2000.
The play, written by local writer June Jackson, follows the story of three middle aged women who grow bored of hosting dinner parties for their successful executive husbands and their clients.
Learning of a new treatment which is still at the experimental stage, they board a plan to America hoping to return with the looks of a 20 year old but with the experience and wisdom they already have.
As with any play, nothing is straightforward and it is the trio's innocent husbands who face the consequences!
As always Turnpike and its open door policy welcomes anyone to auditions which will be held on consecutive Thursdays -- February 22 and March 1 from 8pm at X11 Apostles Club, Westleigh Lane, Leigh. The auditions will be low key and friendly.
