REGARDING the article about the mosaic and natural stone seating that has been installed on Starch House Square (Citizen, January 16)
I wonder if you have tried sitting on the natural stone seating?
Stone is extremely cold and the seating needs wooden slats or some other material on top so that people won't get chilled through when sitting there, especially in winter.
I have heard other people grumbling about it, so I know it is just not me who cannot understand the logic behind installing such seating.
