CALDERSTONES staff celebrated winning an award for excellence in public services thanks to their staff training programmes.
Kathleen van Dijk, training manager, was presented with the Government Charter Mark award for the Whalley unit's continuing education department.
The department develops staff skills with an NVQ programme and other training.
Chief executive Russ Pearce said he was delighted with the award, which was presented to the Chestnut Drive and West Drive services for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour last year.
He said: "Being awarded a charter mark for a second year in a row is an outstanding achievement. Staff who use the service speak highly of the department and the encouragement and support provided by the Training Team.
"I congratulate all the staff for all the hard work and effort in providing a first class staff support service."
