ONE of East Lancashire's best known photographers died suddenly today.
Jack Barry, 59, was well known right across East Lancashire after working for the Lancashire Evening Telegraph for many years.
He worked in the Evening Telegraph's darkroom in the 1970s before moving to work in the Ribble Valley.
He returned to the Evening Telegraph almost 10 years ago.
He died at his Blackburn home in the early hours of today after suffering what is believed to have been a heart attack.
Jack, whose real name was John, leaves his wife Ann also a photographer, son Jonathan an Evening Telegraph photographer , daughter Caroline, daughter-in-law Anita, son-in-law Kevin, and grandchildren Charlotte, Jennifer, Declan and Ciaran.
