COMMUNITY groups raised almost £4,000 to go towards the Muslim Global Relief fund for the Indian earthquake.
The £3,786 will add to the £50,000 already raised by the charity which will go to help survivors in Gujarat.
The fund-raisers handed over the cheque (see picture) to the fund at the education centre in Wellington Street, Blackburn.
A team from the Nelson-based charity is to fly to India this month to administer food, clothing and medical aid.
