Colne crash
A LATE goal sent Colne crashing to their 20th defeat of the season in NWCL Division Two but could have won if they had out their chances away.
Matt Aspinwall hit the post after 20 minutes and later in the half Lee Colridge broke clear only to be thwarted by a last-ditch Holker challenge.
Paul Fildes hit the post from a free kick just before the break and the game was goalless at half-time.
Lee Colridge saw an effort tipped around the post for Colne's best chance of the second half.
With 18 minutes to play a mix-up between Gary Dalton and Craig Stansfield allowed the Holker winger to break free and cross the ball for Cleese to head in at the far post.
Late in the game Fildes and Aspinwall had chances to equalise.
