Chorley charge
CHORLEY ran out comfortable winners of a highly entertaining game full of attractive football to stay in touch with the UniBond First Division promotion-chasers.
In a goalless first half it was the Magpies who called most of the shots, with Danny Mills and Matt Swailes having good chances. Danny Mills bringing a superb save out of Town keeper Danny Bryant with a fierce low drive from 30 yards and Matt Swailes firing another long-range blockbuster just over the bar.
Eastwood came closest before the break when Simon Marsh touched a well-struck free-kick from Paul Gould onto the underside of the bar.
The Magpies went in front from a 54th minute penalty after Greg Challender was tripped. Mills drove home his 16th goal of the season.
David Eatock added a second seven minutes later, fastening onto Swailes' headed flick and lobbing the advancing Bryant.
But on 71 minutes a moment of indecision in the home defence in a rare Eastwood counter-attack let in Andy Todd whose shot was parried by Marsh but only as far as Mark Smith who fired into the empty net.
Fleming wrapped up the points six minutes from time, sidefooting a simple goal after a piece of trickery from the outstanding Neil Mitchell.
