RADCLIFFE Boro travel to Stocksbridge Park Steels tonight hoping that the current side has a Jekyll and Hyde dual personality.
On Saturday supporters saw the very worst of their team in a dire 1-0 home defeat by Guiseley. At the same time tonight's opponents were winning 3-0 away at the only team below Radcliffe in the Unibond Division One listing Congleton Town.
The indications are that only a reappearance of the better side of the Boro character will reap any reward from the trip over the Pennines.
Defender David Bean faces a fitness test after being forced out of the weekend game at half time as a precaution with slight concussion.
Ramsbottom United received an extra bonus at the weekend apart from three more very valuable NWCL Division One points in the 2-1 home win over Flixton as striker David Yorke-Robinson made a second half appearance as substitute for injured Steve Orrell. It had been feared that the highly rated striker after three months already on the sidelines would be out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Tonight the Rams entertain third from bottom Cheadle Town at the Riverside Ground with the squad strike power further boosted by the inclusion of recent signing Mark Heyes. Centre back Mark Thomas and Orrell are fitness doubts but on a brighter note full back Mick Langhorn is back in full training after a nose operation.
Atherton LR entertain Stone Dynamoes at Crilly Park with Liam Boden set to return after missing Saturday's 1-1 cup draw at Daisy Hill. Jason Holroyd definitely misses through work commitments.
