COMMUNITY volunteers were presented with certificates in management at a ceremony at Nelson and Colne College.
They were the latest people to benefit from a programme organised by the college, Pendle Partnership and three economic development partnerships working in Pendle.
Tricia Hall, the college's community development manager, said: "Staff and volunteers from local organisations have now completed the Introductory Certificate in Supervisory Management.
"This was run as part of a series of courses designed to give people a chance to improve their workplace skills and network with others who work in similar environments.
"Obviously by extension we hope these efforts will also benefit the communities these organisations exist to help."
