A PARAMEDIC and part-time policeman has appeared again before Hyndburn magistrates charged with raping a 21-year-old woman.
The case against Mark Evans, 24, of Queen Elizabeth Avenue, Accrington, was adjourned until March 5 while commital papers are prepared.
The Blackburn-based special constable has a full-time job working as a trainee paramedic for Lancashire Ambulance Service.
The offence allegedly took place on January 5 in Accrington.
Mr Evans has been suspended from both jobs while charges are pending.
