BURNLEY manager Stan Ternent would love to have Fulham boss Jean Tigana's headache.
While Ternent has spent the season trying to solve his striker problems, the French chief has an embarrassment of riches with six quality frontmen to opt for.
The current occupants are French striker Louis Saha and Portugal's Luis Boa Morte who will be hard to dislodge notching up 40 goals between them so far this season to help Fulham to a ten point lead at the top of the table.
Saha had what he would describe as a goal 'drought' going three games without finding the back of the net before he scored the winner against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
His strike partner Boa Morte, rejected by Arsenal and on loan from Southampton, is now catching the eye of club's back in his native Portugal with Sporting Lisbon and Benfica said to be interested in securing his services -- that's if Mohammed Al Fayed doesn't dip into his pocket again first.
These two are formidable enough but waiting in the wings Tigana has other riches.
Barry Hayles, a £2m buy from Bristol Rovers, has already scored 16 goals this season despite being sidelined with an ankle injury since New Year's Day following a clash with Stockport County's Mike Flynn.
The 28-year-old says he is now fit and raring to go and could make his return at Turf Moor tonight -- although the bench is the likely option.
Also on the fringes of the squad is Karlheinz Reidle. The German striker, described in his prime as 'the best header of the ball in Europe' joined from Liverpool for just £200,000 17 months ago but can't secure a regular first team place.
Latvian Andrejs Stolcers is another option while Danish striker Peter Moller has joined them on loan from Spanish club Real Oviedo -- he moved out as Stan Collymore moved in -- but has so far had to settle for a spot as one of the substitutes.
A headache the Clarets boss could cope with.
