BLACKBURN striker Matt Jansen last night roared 'now bring on Bolton' after Rovers secured a vital 1-0 win against nine-man Watford at Vicarage Road.
The England Under 21 international endured a night of personal frustration as Hornets keeper Espen Baardsen denied him a hat-trick.
But the 23-year-old hitman was still smiling after Marcus Bent's 72nd minute winner edged Rovers two points nearer second-placed Wanderers.
And he now hopes this vital victory will act as the perfect pick-me-up ahead of Friday night's crucial showdown at the Reebok.
"It was a funny game - the ball just wouldn't go in for me," said Jansen.
"Both the chairman and John Williams came down to the dressing room afterwards and said they'd never seen a game like it.
"But all we needed was the three points and everyone's delighted with that.
"As the manager said, I could have had three or four but it just wasn't my night.
"Hopefully, I'm saving them up for Friday night instead.
"We can't wait for the Bolton game now - everyone's really looking forward to it.
"We're only seven points behind them and it's a real six pointer.
"And if we can go there and win, it would top off a great week for us."
