TOOL suppliers could hold the key to an armed robbery at a supermarket where masked raiders escaped with cash.
Detectives want information about the buyers of three large monkey wrenches used by the raiders to threaten staff.
They took an undisclosed amount of money from Kwik Save in Bolton Road, Atherton, at 7pm on Monday.
Shocked staff handed over cash to the balaclava clad men who were all described as white and in their 20s.
They made their getaway in a dark Vauxhall Vectra.
