BIG time boxing makes a long-awaited return to Blackpool Tower Circus next month.
The highlight of the six bout bill which takes place on March 8 sees popular Fylde based fighter Lee Blundell defending his Central Area Light Middleweight Championship title against Lee Murtagh.
A win for Blundell will see him challenge for the British light middleweight title.
Also fighting will be Blackpool boxers Paul Richardson, Alan Campbell, Andy Abrol and Elias Boswell.
The bout is the biggest night for boxing in the town for decades according to co-promoter Peter Andrews. He said: "This is the first time in thirty years that big time boxing will take place in the Tower Circus and it should be a great night.
"It is a superb venue for boxing as all the spectators will be close to the ring and can enjoy a tremendous view of the action."
Tickets for the event are £20 available from Blackpool Live Box Office on 292029.
