BLACKPOOL RANGERS U9s 7 STAINING 1 (aggregate score) RANGERS A put on a lot of early pressure in this Coulton Cup match with the Staining keeper making some important saves. Jack Taylor scored an early goal after good build up play. Staining equalised but a second goal from Jack Taylor in the second half sealed victory. B team got off to a good start with a Josh Brady goal but there was good football by both teams. Further goals came from Declan O'Hara, Tom Smith and two from George Lake.
CLIFTON RANGERS U12s 1 BLACKPOOL RANGERS 4 RANGERS played lovely passing football but it was goalless at half-time. Rangers broke the deadlock when a good move was finished off by Josh Barron. It was 2-0 thanks to Steven Perrett's superb finish. John Clarke added a third before Steven Perrett scored his second with a rocket into the roof of the net. Clifton pulled back a late consolation. Man of the match for Rangers was Sean Bimpson. BLACKPOOL RANGERS U13s 8 LYTHAM 0 RANGERS dominated and took a deserved 3-0 lead into the break. Five more goals were added in the second half to steal a convincing victory. Goalscorers were: Ryan Long, Jamie Havill 1, Will Riding 3 and Daniel Webster 3.
THORNTON U15s 1 BLACKPOOL RANGERS 1 THORNTON went into the break 1-0 up in this Hogan Cup first round tie, but Rangers never let up and equalised with ten minutes to go. Rangers' nerves held and they won 3-1 on penalties. Goalscorers for Rangers were: Dean Brightman. Penalty goalscorers were: James Myers, Kyle Ingham and Joe Booth.
