WAIT until you see the new line up of shows the Grand have got for you -- starting with an all-star spectacular.
The star-studded cast of the play Wait Until Dark, which is being staged at the Blackpool Grand Theatre from February 26 to March 3, joined staff at the theatre to launch its new programme which is full of hit shows for the summer.
Chloe Newsome (Victoria Macdonald from Coronation Street), Frazer Hines (former Dr Who star and Jo Sugden of Emmerdale fame), Tony Scannell (DS Ted Roach from The Bill) and Kevin Pallister (evil Graham Clark, also from Emmerdale) all star in the thriller.
It is written by Frederick Knott, who wrote the acclaimed Dial M for Murder, and is brought to the Grand by the producers of last season's smash hits Phantom of the Opera and Double Double.
It tells the story of three petty crooks who are anxious to find a drug-filled doll which has been stolen from a London flat. They soon find the couple who own it and, after luring away the husband, they need to get his blind wife to reveal the whereabouts of the doll.
But she becomes suspicious and uses her hearing to make up for what she cannot see.
In a terrifying climax she learns that the blind have an advantage over those who can see.
Wait Until Dark will have nightly performances at 7.30pm and Wednesday and Sunday matinees at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £6 and are available from the box office on (01253) 290190.
