IT'S everyone's dream at the end of a working day to have a slap-up meal prepared by a top chef.

But Carol Kapler (54) and her partner Charles Wolstenholme (57) went one better and they did not even have to leave their Ringley Road West home to get the star treatment.

Celebrity chef Noel Goulding created a lip-smacking three-course meal in their kitchen on Monday (Feb 19) after Carol won a competition.

"It was a charity raffle in Radcliffe Asda on Valentine's Day so I thought I'd give it a go," explained Carol. "When I got the phone call the next day to say I'd won I couldn't believe it."

Besides the services of Chef Noel, they also had a butler in the form of Asda's Tony Bilsborough and a waitress in his colleague Naomi Dyson. And Tony is pictured offering the happy couple more bubbly during their mouth-watering meal.

"We don't go out much at all, so it was a real luxury," said Carol. "Noel and the others were such good fun, almost like a cabaret, and the meal was gorgeous!"

They chose a delicious crown of Galia melon with tiger prawns for starters and for their main course they tucked into supreme of chicken fillet with boursan cheeses served with a brandy cream sauce and a selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes.

The meal was rounded off with fresh strawberries, champagne and fine wine.

"It was really lovely and to cap it all they even did the washing up for us!" laughed Carol.
