IF your New Year's resolutions involve widening your horizons, improving your fitness levels or helping others, then I have the perfect way for you to achieve these goals. Royal Mencap, the leading charity for people with a learning disability is organising a cycle challenge in Costa Rica this November.
The challenge will take you 480km across the rolling hills of the Pacific to the tropical climes of the Caribbean coast.
Mencap simply ask you to pay a £250 joining fee and raise a minimum sponsorship for the charity. After that, flights, accommodation, meals and bikes are all included.
It's a chance to get fit and meet new people, and Mencap will help you every step of the way as you prepare for the ride.
Please call 0845 9777 779 to receive your free Costa Rica Bike Ride pack, or write to the Costa Rica Bike Ride, Mencap, FREEPOST, London, EC1B 1AA. You can also e-mail Mencap at events@mencap.org.uk
