DIVISION One title challengers Leigh East found themselves outgunned 36-8 when they came up against National League Champions West Hull in the third round of the League Express National Cup.
Tries from Lee Horsfield and Stuart Leake, plus three Wayne Harris goals in the opening 10 minutes, set the pattern of the game and although the Humbersiders had international scrum-half Terry Lynn sent off on 26 minutes, they never let up.
By half time Brian Newby, Carl Moore and Lee Moreton had added other Wests tries for a 24-0 lead.
Moore claimed his second try three minutes after the restart and Glyn Jones completed the six-try tally for harris to add his sixth goal.
East finally managed to make a breakthrough and claimed two late tries from Darren Hall and Mike Redford.
