YOUNG stars of the future are being given the chance to shine while raising money for a good cause.
Talented youngsters between five and 15 are invited to Leigh Rugby Club on Saturday March 10 as the first heats of the Tommy's Talented Youngster of the Year begin.
Young folk from Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley have the opportunity to find fame while raising money for national baby charity Tommy's Campaign's, Birth of Hope appeal.
A £10 entry fee will be donated to the national charity as budding young stars compete to reach the grand final in September.
Tommy's campaign, set up in 1992, funds the medical research of premature birth, miscarriage and still-birth.
The campaign hopes to raise £1million to support the new Fetal Health Research Centre being created within St Mary's Hospital.
Auditions will be held at Leigh Rugby Club and The Marriott Worsley Hotel and Country Club, taking place between 10am to 12pm. All applicants must be accompanied by an adult.
