HAVING read the letter from "25 Years Loyal" (Feb 2), may I commend this person for accurately reflecting the present situation with regard to Bury Football Club.
Why should the onus be placed on loyal Bury fans to dig the club out of its latest financial crisis?
Why don't the Bury Times start a campaign to attract a team of proven local businessmen to share the responsibility of running the club until new buyers are found? Then we could get rid of Bury FC's chairman and chief executive, Mr Robinson, save his £50,000 a year salary and, no doubt, other costs incurred through what I see as his mismanagement of the club.
Surely prevention is better than continually having to come up with a cure!
