DISABLED people should find it easier to get around Unsworth library to use the whole range of facilities.
Improvements to provide better access have been made to the counter area, similar to adaptations already made at Whitefield and Tottington libraries.
Unsworth councillor Gordon Sharkey, Bury Council's disability spokesman, said: "The changes are relatively simple ones but they will make life easier for disabled people."
New security gates have also been built between the Unsworth branch and the neighbouring Sunnybank Clinic to deter vandals.
