WHY doesn't the Government pay proper salaries to doctors and encourage medical students properly and, therefore, give the public a satisfactory health service?
Italy has only a third of the number of patients per doctor and Germany half those of our overworked, underpaid, red tape-tied general practitioners.
So is it not time the government gave us voters facts like that instead of 'ring in' advice and corridor beds?
Why can't all lottery profits go direct to our health service? We would all accept that and increased ticket sales should follow.
