A BURY worker died as he travelled home when his car crashed through a stone wall and smashed onto its roof.
Rizwan Mitha, who was employed by a Bury firm, died after suffering serious head injuries after his Hyundai saloon car had lost control on a bend.
The body of the 20-year-old man from Whalley New Road, Blackburn, was discovered in his upturned car in a field off the A6177 Grane Road at Belthorne, Lancashire, at 10.45pm on Monday.
A passing motorist alerted police but the badly injured man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Mitha had left his work in Bury at 10.15pm to travel home.
The road was closed for two hours as an accident investigation team probed the crash.
