A VILLAGE garden centre has helped to light up the lives of sick children.
Bent's of Glazebury's Christmas charity campaign raised £2,000 which has been split between Claire House Children's Hospice and Manchester Children's Hospitals to provide maintenance support and medical equipment.
Head of appeals at Claire House, Janet Croker, said: "An amount like this makes a terrific difference."
Bents also donated 500 Christmas tree lights to Century FM's "Light Up a Child's Life" campaign with the lights and pledged money from listeners also donated.
