I WAS lucky enough to be among the 5,000-plus Rovers fans who watched the games at the Reebok Stadium.
Graeme Souness has had his critics since he was appointed and a few doubted the club's wisdom in appointing him as manager last March.
But any doubts people had about him must, after the Bolton performances, have been extinguished forever.
All right, so Rovers have not won anything (yet) under Souness, nor have they realised their Holy Grail of a return to the Premiership.
But Souness has now built a team in his own fashion -- one that plays with desire, passion and with an insatiable desire to win.
In short, he has given back pride in the team to both Rovers players and the fans -- something that was sadly lacking under the last few managerial incumbents.
