A RAPPING robot dropped into lessons at a Rainford primary school to give some tips on saving the environment.
Rainford CE Primary School played host to Cycler, the robot, who put on a show of dancing and singing including the 'recycling rap.'
The recycling robot was there to teach them a valuable lesson in protecting the environment.
Cycler has visited a number of schools across the region, teaching children how they can protect the environment by reducing, reusing and recycling waste, as part of a national environment education programme run by Waste Watch.
Children at the school in Cross Pit Lane were also given the chance to chat about issues relating to waste and received an activity book of follow-up exercises designed to maximise the show's educational impact. Schools Outreach Worker Dave Taggart, said: "Each year Every household in the UK throws away more than a tonne of waste, of which around 75 per cent could be reused or recycled to avoid wasting valuable resources. Cycler raps and talks to children about this and they quickly get the message and join in".
