A PUB will rise from the ashes after a £700,000 rebuild following a devastating fire last November.

Punch Retail, owners of the former Big Steak Pub the Hollywood Star, off Manchester Road, Burnley, are hoping that the opening on March 14 will be a double delight as they are inviting ten sets of identical twins to act as VIPs.

The fire started in the kitchen and quickly spread throughout the building, but all staff and customers were safely evacuated and no one was injured.

As part of the opening offers the pub is becoming a Two for One which will mean any diner who orders two main courses from the menu will get the cheaper one free.

Pub manager Stuart Andrew said: "We are looking for identical twins of all ages and if there is more than one set from the same family, even better.

"Part of their VIP treatment will be an opportunity to star in our opening photocall, so if there are any twins out there looking for stardom, this could be their golden opportunity.

"The fire was a terrible shock to the staff and customers, however we are all very confident that the new look Hollywood Star will be a huge success."

The pub is in the Apollo Nine complex at Hollywood Park and has a wacky warehouse -- a giant indoor play area for kids.

Business development manager Victoria Ball said: "A great deal of hard work and investment has been put into the Hollywood Star, bringing it up to the standard it has set in the past.

"Customers will not be disappointed when they return to the pub and we are positive the Two for One brand will be very popular."

Identical twins should call Vici Wiseman, Jenni Crook or Jo Mathers on 0121 455 7788.
