CATERING students at Preston College, in St Vincent's Road, Fulwood, are flippin' great at rustling up a right tasty treat and this week the cookery buffs proved they were worth their salt.
The smiley bunch knocked up the batter and tossed in the eggs to make pancakes for their friends and fellow students at Vincent's Restaurant, on the college campus, for Shrove Tuesday.
And they were not the only master chefs to enjoy the traditional dish -- students at Runshaw College, in Langdale Road, Leyland, have been mixing up the famous pancake delight.
Talented Stuart Topping, 18, of Leyland, donned his catering clothes and made pancakes for his college pals as part of his Level 2 NVQ Catering course.
Schoolchildren from Moor Nook Primary School, in Ribbleton, Preston, (pictured) got more than they bargained for when they popped into Fulwood's Asda supermarket.
As well as joining the store's Big Eat five-a-day fruit and vegetable campaign the happy class chums munched into delicious pancakes -- a scrumptious break time alternative.
