STAFF at TNT in Ramsbottom are holding a double celebration this week.
Investors in People (IIP) has given a "unanimous recommendation" that the firm retains its recognition as an IIP company.
And they also announced that TNT was the first company ever to achieve worldwide recognition as an IIP organisation.
Following an in-depth evaluation of the company's training and development practices, during more than 250 interviews with TNT staff, the two week IIP audit concluded the business displayed "an exemplary approach to IIP."
TNT Ramsbottom depot general manager Eddie O'Donnell said: "We are extremely pleased that we have once again exceeded the stringent IIP requirements.
"Our determination to improve our performance through the development of our people continues to benefit both the organisation and the individuals within it."
He concluded: "At TNT Ramsbottom, we are proud to nurture a culture that aims to be the best by encouraging people to ask questions, seek feedback and try out new ideas."
