EYE specialists from Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust are taking leave to help improve the eyesight of Romanian orphans.
Staff from the Christopher Home Eye Unit are off to Turnu Severin in April to carry out squint operations on the eyes of 35 deserted children. But first they are appealing for funds to buy expensive specialist equipment. Donations can be sent to Sonia at the Christopher Home Eye Unit, Wigan Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, Wigan Lane, Wigan, WN1 2NN.
