A LEIGH man is set to investigate the latest technology for new homes in his new job.
Ian Wilkinson, 46, (pictured right) has been promoted to development manager at the Warrington-based house building firm Bellway Homes.
In his new role Ian will look for ways to integrate the latest technology into Bellway's new homes.
Lincoln Ahern, Bellway's construction director said: "Within a short time of joining Bellway Ian demonstrated his ability to make things happen by negotiating a national deal for gas and electricity for all of Bellway's divisions and over the past two years he has continued to play an active role in our business."
Ian, who is married to Joy and has three children, said: "My new role is particularly exciting as it is much wider than my previous position as utilities manager."
Outside of work Ian is a rugby fan and is currently helping to raise funds for an Australian tour in 2003 for Leigh East Amateur Rugby League Football Club's under 13's team.
