Graham Howarth is looking for his side to overcome the fear factor ahead of Saturday's visit of high-flying Tetley Walker.
The Arbories boss has admitted that confidence is low and that his side's performances have suffered.
He said: "Players are afraid of putting their foot on the ball because they do not want to make any mistakes. But we need our players to start to take responsibility and start playing like we did at the start of the season."
