'This trophy is for the fans' JOHN Coleman wants to win some silverware for the Accrington Stanley fans.
The Crown Ground boss is confident the Reds can beat Farsley Celtic on Saturday and go on and lift the President's Cup.
He said: "The fans have been fantastic all season and it would be nice to win some silverware to say thank you to them. To be realistic, promotion is beyond us so in terms of the league we are planning for next season.
"But the cup competition is a good opportunity for us and we believe we are good enough to win it."
Coleman admitted he was disappointed with last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Gainsborough but he will be looking to build on the club's recent good form of one defeat in the last five games.
"We need to bounce back from that defeat. Although Farsley are a division below us we are expecting a tough game."
And he is hoping to have a full squad available for the visit of Farsley, currently eighth in Division One. Steve Hollis and John Smith could return. BOSS: John Coleman
