Paul Round and Noel Brotherston scored and it was the game from which the cry of 'Keeley's gonna gettya' originated after a Luton defender upended Brotherston and Keeley took things into his own hands.
Most memorable match?: Rovers 5 Crystal Palace 4 (8th Oct 1988, att 8,022). Rovers went 3-1 up then were losing 4-3 but ended up winning 5-4 after a late winner from the one and only Simon Garner
Most memorable player?: Past, the late Noel Brotherston who was a true wing wizard. Present, Alan Shearer at his deadly best at Ewood.
