THE Lancashire Evening Telegraph is teaming up with a new national charity, Football Aid, to offer diehard Blackburn Rovers fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play on their own field of dreams.
We're offering two lucky readers the opportunity to don the famous blue and white halves and play in a competitive match on the hallowed Ewood turf.
Football Aid is the largest-ever charity campaign involving football and almost 60 top clubs in the Premiership, Scottish Premier League and First divisions north and south of the border are offering thousands of supporters all over the country the chance to bring their dreams to life and play for the team they've always supported.
Footballing legend Bobby Robson is patron of Football Aid and he's excited about the prospect of thousands of fans getting the chance to play for their favourite club.
He said: "Every football fan dreams of running out of the tunnel onto their team's pitch and playing for the jersey, and through Football Aid that dream will become a reality for thousands.
"For the lucky participants, it'll be an unforgettable experience, and I'm sure football fans the length and breadth of the country will respond magnificently and support what is a really deserving cause."
The lucky winners will have a day to remember, starting with tactics and a team talk by a celebrity manager, through to the game itself, complete with a professional referee and, of course, the post-match celebrations!
As part of the package, winners will receive a fitness assessment and training advice courtesy of LivingWell health clubs and pre-match coaching sessions with their celebrity manager. The Football Aid project aims to raise over £1 million for children's diabetes charities and local good causes supported by the clubs.
Places for the end-of-season match at Ewood will go to those Rovers fans registering the highest bids on the special Football Aid website www.footballaid.com.
But we've teamed up with the organisers of Football Aid to give away two places to lucky readers absolutely free!

For health and safety reasons, winners will require to demonstrate an appropriate level of fitness for sporting activities.
If you're not the lucky Telegraph winner, then remember you can still bid for places on the Football Aid website. The coveted Rovers' number nine shirt in the Football Aid match is also up for grabs in a special on-line draw at the site www.footballaid.com. In exchange for a bid of just £10, you'll enter a draw to follow in the footsteps of famous Ewood number nines like Alan Shearer.
