THIRTEEN 13 won't be a name that rolls off the tongue just yet but this new group are determined to earn respect by sheer hard work.
Theirs is the sort of story that most aspiring musicians can only dream of. Lead singer Wayne Murray had no band, just a one-track demo, which a friend played to the man who discovered Blur and Idlewild.
Andy Ross was so impressed he insisted Murray return to the studio to record more. The shell-shocked singer quickly assembled a few mates and the band was born. Now on a seven-album deal with -Polydor and with their debut album in the bag, the indie quartet know exactly what they want.
