A THIRD man has been arrested and is being quizzed by detectives in connection with the shooting of Darren Bell.
The 30 year-old-man, who is believed to be from the Blackburn area, was arrested in Bury and is now being held at Blackburn police station.
Anthony James O'Reilly, 35, of Albion Mill, Ewood, and Paul Joseph McWilliams, 27, of Stonyhurst Road, both Blackburn, have already been jointly charged with murdering Darren Bell.
Both are in custody awaiting trial at Preston Crown Court where they will appear on Wednesday.
Mr Bell, 31, of York Street, Blackburn, was shot in the stomach through the glass door panel of a house in Mona Road, Blackburn, in the early hours of last Thursday, February 22.
He was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary where he died on the operating table as surgeons battled to save him.
