ACCRINGTON Stanley have offered to help out Great Harwood after the Showground was shut because of the foot and mouth outbreak yesterday.
Harwood's NWCL Division One game on Friday night at home to Woodley Sports is off as ground is close to an area where the disease has been found.
The area was due to be disinfected.
"I couldn't get anywhere near the ground, not even into the car park," confirmed Harwood chairman Bill Holden.
"We will have to wait and see what happens over the weekend, obviously we are disappointed although it is nothing compared to people's livelihoods.
"But Accrington Chairman Eric Whalley has kindly offered to let us use their ground for Monday's game against Nantwich if necessary."
