A RESIDENTS' group is appealing for more members.
Lodgeside Trust, a group for people living in the Whitehall area of Darwen, says it could do with more volunteers to help push for more work to be done for the community.
It has succeeded in getting essential drainage work carried out on land at Watery Lane with a view to putting a football pitch on.
A netball post will also be put up and there are also plans to further light the paths in the area.
Any feedback from people in the Whitehall area is welcome so the group can identify things to work on. Any correspondence should be sent to The Lodgeside Trust c/o 3, Crosby Close, Darwen, BB3 2JD.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the group, telephone 07974 867914.
