A CRUCIAL course aimed at giving bosses vital advice on fire safety will be held in Blackburn this month.
Groundwork Business Environment Association (BEA) is staging the two-day fire safety risk assessment workshop course on March 14 and 21 at Groundwork Blackburn's offices, Bolton Road, Blackburn.
Since December 1999 employers have had to carry out their own fire safety risk assessments. The course is aimed at staff who are responsible or involved within their company for
assessing fire safety risks. It will be delivered by ex- Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service Station Officer Bob Parkin who has 22 years fire service experience including fire safety inspecting and training.
The course will cost £270 plus VAT for BEA members and £295 plus VAT for non-members.
