A GROUP of 20 Astley pupils got packing to raise £460 to send disadvantaged youngsters on a pilgrimage to France.
The students from St Mary's Catholic High School were in Sainsbury's in Leigh packing bags for customers and raised the money in just one day.
Pupils will be at the supermarket again this Sunday to raise even more cash to let young people go to Lourdes on the Liverpool Archdiocese Youth Pilgrimage.
