LEIGH'S PDSA charity shop will be unveiling its latest gifts of spring fashions throughout this month. The Bradshawgate premises raises funds to help the veterinary charity which carried out 1.3 million free treatments on sick and injured pets last year.
In 2000, veterinary services cost a staggering £25.7 million, funded entirely by public support through donations and legacies. The shops rely on offerings and items of clothing, bric-a-brac, ornaments, books and jewellery are always welcome.
Volunteers are also wanted. For further details contact the centre freephone number on 0800 854194.
