IN reply to M Lacey's remarks (Letters, March 2), my point was that I thought it was a shame that young people in the Henthorn area of Clitheroe will have to wait two years for a youth shelter.
It is wrong to assume that I would object to Henthorn Community centre being used.
I live in the part of the complex which has been fenced, but this was all arranged before I moved in. I agree that money could be given to Trinity Youth Club, but not all youngsters want to go there.
There is room for a variety of facilities for our young people.
LAURA BAILEY, Hazel Grove,
Clitheroe.
