BURY is to receive £208,000 of Government money to improve standards of child care.
The announcement has been welcomed by Bury North MP David Chaytor, who says it is further proof of Labour's commitment to early years education and child care.
"This should make a real difference to the child care which will be on offer to local parents," he said.
"It will help boost the quality of care and education that children get by training new recruits and helping more experienced workers gain new qualifications and skills."
