RAMSBOTTOM'S Ben Hanley has just added another top trophy to his collection -- the Champion British Kart Driver Rankings title for 2000.
His achievement was honoured by top British touring car driver, Matt Neal, who presented Ben with his award during the Autosport International show at the NEC in Birmingham.
The 16-year-old, who is no stranger to success after scooping the keenly-contested MSA British Junior Championship for 2000, sped to victory in the championship despite strong opposition from the other participants.
Delighted with his award, Ben is not resting on his laurels. "I'd like to win the European, world and Super One championships next year and in the future go on to Formula 1 or the CART series, but I haven't set myself a time scale," he said.
