STUDENTS at Burnley's Towneley High School were celebrating success today after being among the first to receive new Princess Diana Memorial Awards.
Head girl Charlotte O'Horo, 15, Beth Hughes, 16, Danny Hunter, 15, and Kevin Hall, 16, all scooped the awards for their work in the community.
They were congratulated by head teacher David Hinks who said: "To have one student chosen for this award is an honour. To have four is remarkable.
He added: "We nominated four students who have all made outstanding contributions both in school and in the community.
"We are very proud that all four have been chosen. It is a fitting reward for all their hard work and time spent helping others."
