FIRE crews fought to release a woman driver after she was trapped under her car.
The incident happened at Burnley's Finsley Gate car park early today after the woman had parked up and was about to walk away when she realised the Renault Laguna was moving down a slope.
She went to the front of the vehicle to try to stop it, but was forced back and fell under the vehicle which collided with a nearby parked Volvo.
Fire crews and paramedics raced to the scene, where firefighters used an airbag to lift the vehicle and release the woman, who has not yet been named.
She was taken to Burnley General Hospital with cuts bruises and suffering from shock but her condition is not thought to be serious.
