A CHARITY dream has become a reality for Radcliffe man Ian Siddall.
During the past 12 years he has made 25 mercy missions to Romania in his trusty van, taking aid to the needy.
And on Saturday (March 10) he will open a shop in Church Street West which he hopes will raise enough money to enable him to fund many more trips to help the desperate.
"Our organisation is called Transglobal Humanitarian Aid. Originally the idea was to transport medical supplies, toiletries and anything else that the Romanians were short of but now we are expanding and hope to help any country that needs us," said Mr Siddall.
The shop ,which will be open every day apart from Wednesdays and Sundays and will be staffed by volunteers, has been loaned to the organisation by Bury Council.
The shop will open at 10am and if you are interested in volunteering a couple of hours a week to help run it you can call Mr Siddall on 724 9935.
