I WROTE to the Star about a year ago telling you of the problem we have with dog muck around our local area. I could not play football on the local field because it was so bad.
Thanks to yourselves and the council something was done in the form of bins for people to put doggy do in. The situation has improved.
But on February 13, I went to my friend's house after visiting the school library and when I got there we were having a game of football. I was using my bag for a goal post and everything was alright at first until some bloke came around the corner. He had three dogs on a lead and one of them actually cocked its leg up and had a wee on my bag.
The bloke just looked over to me and said "Oh! Sorry mate" and walked off. I replied: "It's done now isn't it? It''s too late". he damage had already been done. He just carried on walking and said nothing else. He did not even apologise.
The smell from the bag was horrible. When I arrived home I told my parents and they were both annoyed and disgusted. They now have to buy me a new bag as the old one is in the bin. I was very disappointed to have experienced such an incident. It really shows that some people do not consider others and only care about themselves.
